Don't know you sammy (quite new on here) but having a baby is such an exciting time and I'd just like to wish you well hun

Lets hope she comes of her own accord - I ran around the church yard twice for my 1st one when she due (surgery was next door to the church in case you're wondering ;) ) So a bit of a gentle little jog might help things along - even if it's only around your garden.

    Good Luck :)

Yes i have been in contact with the cccs since january, the appilcation for a DRO took too long to process and i am now over the £15k limit, I paid the fee but they didnt add it up right. Just waiting to see if i can get the £90 refunded.

Bum :( That's why I don;t advise my clients to pay the DRO fee until the form is completed :)

Contact the DRO unit (or CCCS) and they should repay your fee, as long as the application wasn't submitted (which no adviser worth their salt really shouldn't have done if you were above the £15k limit).

Form was completed, processed, just needed to be submitted to the OR?, updated the most up to date amounts to them via email, they replied saying all was good just need to pay the fee, toddled off to pay the fee and got a phone call 3 mins after leaving the post office to say that I was over my limit by about £100 but in order to down to under £15k i would have to pro rata pay each one and hope they will accept it and not whack more blinking charges and interest on.

I don't know why I had to include my water rates either? I have no debt with them.

    Such as life...

I have been given a template letter so I can request a refund but I have been told its very rare to get one so I am printing off the e-mails to send too.

    Hi everyone,

On a brighter note, Mr S has been looking for a replacement computer chair, but not seen any below £50 and not as good as good as his broken one. Tonight he's found someone selling the parts he needs to repair his.

I didn't know they could be repaired. The ratchet has gone on my (quite expensive) office chair. I'll be sitting there, minding my own business when suddenly the front of the seat drops and tries to throw me off. I can't work out how to get to the ratchet to replace it, but now I know spares can be had, I'll have another try. Was it an online company?

Yes, just asked him and it was from e-bay, A company called JMI-world. They delivered today but Mr S in his true dis-organised fashion decided to work from the sumerhouse
rather than the house and didn't hear them knock and has asked them to re-deliver tomorrow assumming I'll be in when a quick look at our family calendar would have told him I have an appt in town at 1pm!!

Been to Mr T as I have a cricket buffet to produce for Sunday. Lots of empty shelves where the basics should be! And the prices are way higher than they were!

Dd has just put together the little mans cot - all gifted, cot, bumpers and bedding, even a hanging pocket thingy, it looks so good. All they had to buy was the mattress! He looks so comfy in his O/S cot.

Lol - hi hun - no I'm still here. Saw my consultant yesterday so spent half the morning sat in a very warm maternity unit. Baby is all fine, heartbeat is good etc but did worry me that they couldn't tell what way round she was so had to have a quick scan to double check she wasn't breech (shes not) so they are getting me back in on the 8th if I haven't popped by then to talk about induction.
    Time to find me again

Dh has just nipped home (works 5 mins walk away) his boss has said he will have to cut hours and pay across the board to help keep the business afloat. We don't know what exactly as yet, but he wanted to let them know what is going on.

He is putting together a package for the accountant & bank to see what needs to be done including re-mortgaging his own house as well. (very small company boss plus 5 workers).

Will know more next week hopefully.
    My self & hubby; 2 sons (30 & 26). Hubby also a found daughter (37).
Eldest son has his own house with partner & her 2 children (11 & 10)
Youngest son & fiancé now have own house.
    So we’re empty nesters.
    Daughter married with 3 boys (12, 9 & 5).
My mother always served up leftovers we never knew what the original meal was. - Tracey Ulman
