    Hi liloandstitch

Sorry to hear about the illness - hope you get well soon.

Just thinking that I have an idea one can get transport costs to hospital appointments paid for if applicable? I may be wrong on that - but its worth investigating (after all - its not your doing if the hospital isnt there on your doorstep - but you are sent to one some distance away).
  • I'm not sure which benefit he claims, but I know my Ex, who is self employed receives just over £100 a week. I know this because I have reported him to the Benefit Fraud Hotline. Yes, yes I know I'm a cow, but he was in the process of buy 3 properties in the Caribbean at the time.

Update, the job offer he had was withdrawn so its back to the drawing board, but I have a better feeling about this one.

Just a quick one to say that Moo UHT one % is 50p a litre in Morrisons at the mo, the other varieties are 75p.

Also the ragu sauces and pasta 500g packs are 2 for £1 in Asda at the mo, making the pasta the cheapest other than the value stuff I think.

Julian Graves have sun dried toms at £1.99 a pack, when water's added they come up to at least the same as you'd get in a couple of jars, so pretty good value.

Other than bulk buying stuff that's on offer I don't think I've got much to report at the mo! Thinking of all of you with redundancy threats, or who have already lost their jobs xx

I've been to Morrisons today; the ad shows what seems to be a decent size bag of peas, but the 50p bag is a small one so not sure if its a real saving but my dsis bought one as she only has a small freezer. ;)
... don't throw the string away. You always need string! :D
