You can get daily/weekly passes and the like, but I'd start by checking out:
www.gmpte.com and http://nw.aimwebsites.co.uk/
Hope that helps.0 -
Thanx 4 your reply I found the site to be a bit complicated just because I no nothing about the area where I am travelling in.
I need to get from Piccadilly train station to the ETAP hotel in Salford. What is easiest way to get there by public transport?
Thanks0 -
Hello, there is a free bus network for the centre of Manchester. If you consult this page: http://www.gmpte.com/content.cfm?subcategory_id=370432 you will find the list of routes for the three buses. The #3 does go to Salford so see where the ETAP is in relation. The city centre isn't huge so walking isn't going to knacker you out. You will find all three stops for these metro buses outside the station when you arrive.0

Unfortunately the free bus doesn't go to that part of Salford. I think a metrolink from piccadilly to Salford quays is the quickest route.we have love enough to light the streets.0

From Piccadilly, get the Metrolink - an Eccles tram.
The Etap is between the Exchange Quay and Salford Quays stops. I think that the Exchange Quay stop is slightly nearer.0
