once l was with a friend in boots and saw police escorting a young women with a tiny baby prob only a few weeks old (bless) to the back of the store, he obviously went after her when she had left the shop. we being noisy cows that we are :p followed em, he searched her buggy and bags and asked for reciepts to all the stuff she had, she was propa havin a fit about it all and was shoutin how she hadent nicked nuffin... everyone was lookin kinda felt sorry for her. l dunno if they found anythin on her. wheneva im in store especially wid teh kids im always gettin this horrible feelling im being watched or followed...... must be part of the bootsing buzz!!!!!
I walk past (or into) Boots most days at around 3.30 and often -maybe 2-3 times a week -see the police removing shoplifters.Sometimes they are kids but mainly women in their 20s or 30s.I think Boots have good CCTV and security in my store !
I am not worried -if they are watching for thives they are not looking at my vouchers !

Oh my, how embarassing for that young woman, I hope it all turned out well for her.
Last summer my teenaged kids and I went into S*******g just as they were closing to buy some bits and pieces on our way to the cinema. Straight afterwards we went into Waitrose to buy popcorn and drinks. A few minutes later the S*******g SA came and found us, she'd lost her store keys and thought she may have put them into one of our carrier bags as she had them in her hand ready to lock up. She asked if we could check our bags which we did but no keys to be found. When I looked up there were about fifty pairs of eyes staring at us as it was in full view of the Waitrose checkout area
I was absolutely mortified as the realisation suddenly dawned that everyone would think we were shoplifting. I never went back into Waitrose again after that :rotfl:

I had to input it a few times, empty the basket etc, but it does seem to be working doesn't it?

  • I bought 2 of the No.7 tan maintainers to get the gwp and used one of the pinkies.
I have now opened one of them and tried it but it has brought my leg out into a rash.
Can I return the unopen one to the store without the reciept as I have binned it?

DS has one of these, I was worried that he might shred his face but there seems to be a knack to using it ie: use plenty of foam etc and keep the razor moving at all times.
DS says it's the best razor he's ever used :T

    On-topic

Lee Stafford Flick Tease Styling Spray 75ml £2.68 but 3 for £2 on clearance today. Plenty of them too so maybe going national?

Also, a few of the red TS root cover ups, 342 at 50p each so broke even (as a Bootser ;)) with the 100 points ACM voucher - twice  I've seen this as little as 20p, so worth it just to use the voucher up.

"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".
