A different razor saving - I bought my boyf the Gillette Fusion Gift pack (8 cartridges and free full size shave gel in box) and its 50p cheaper than buying the razor blades on their own. (But, went throught till at £15.50 but SA honoured SEL of £14.99:p ) paid with my hard earned dot com order points of last week so free anyway!! Assume as a gift these might be on 342 also.

    Any advise would be appreciated.

I'm just about to play an order on Boots.com for just over £70 so I get the bonus points and this order is made up of 3 4 2 offers (including the Elle Macpherson sets).

Are there any other deals or offers I should be taking advantage of by before placing this order?

The Xmas event I noticed someone mentioned - is that nationwide - would I be better off going into the store to buy?

    Thanks
there are some codes over on the voucher/code board that are still working eg 500 points for £60 spend that can be combined with the automatic online 1000 wys £70

    Hi

Does anyone know if this would work

    FCUK weekend mens bag £14.00
    2 x titanium quattro razor £15.98
    Total to pay £29.98

    THen
    342 gifts so - £7.99
the 1/2 price razor deal takes off another - £8.00
and use the voucher from the magazine for a 1/2 price weekend bag - £7.00

    Leaving £6.99 to pay.

Or have I got the wrong idea about this altogether.

    Hoping you can help me!

I've had a bit of a change of circumstances at home and don't have as much to spend at Christmas as I thought I would but would still like to be able to give nice presents. I've already told brothers and sisters that they won't be getting but intend on purchasing for nieces and nephews.

So my mission is to buy some gifts for 9 nieces and nephews, 2 mums and 2 dads that cost a lot less than they look ;) I know you are all amazing bargain hunters and hoped that you would be able to point me in the right directions.
    ...

I'm catching up, so I'm sure people have given you lots of Boots tips. If you can't get all you need there, I strongly recommend Woolworths. I just went today and the deals are amazing. Lots of things are 342, some things are greatly reduced (some xmas decorations are half off and 342, though that doesn't help with gifts, lol). Lots of toys were 1/2 off. AND there is a voucher for 20% off on a thread here on MSE, it's good until Sunday. I got a huge bag of decorations, cadbury's candies (the 5-pack that is 1 quid everywhere else was on sale 342 AND got 20% off, so that's 1.60 for three), and lots of odds and ends for just over 10 quid. I can't vouch for what gift items might be like there as I wasn't buying any, but surely there are some bargains to be had.

I can't find the link to the woolies voucher now, so I'll keep searching a bit. FYI, there is one voucher on hotukdeals that expires today, but a new one was posted on MSE that's good until Sunday. FYI, be *sure* to hand over the voucher first, as they can't take it off after -- I had to have my entire sale deleted and scanned again! DOH!

Edit: Found it! Here's the link for the voucher, scroll down to Woolworths: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/discount-voucher-codes

I think that should work fine!

    ;)
"Buy me, Lady", said the frock, "and I will make you into a BEAUTIFUL & WHOLE & COMPLETE human being".
"Do not be silly", said the Man, "for a frock alone cannot do that".
"True", said the Lady, "I will have the shoes and the bag as well".

In theory this should work because the FCUK bag is included in the xmas 342 both in the catalogue and online, but unfortunately instore the tills class it as being in the mens toiletries 342 (the razors are in the xmas 342)
I did something similar a few weeks ago, trying to combine it with other xmas 342's, the till wouldn't let me do it, but I managed to convince the SA the FCUK bag was in the xmas 342, they then had to cancel everything and over-ride the till. So if you are feeling brave (maybe take the catalogue with you to prove your point) you might get away with it!
