Hi All,

I’d be grateful of some opinions with regards banking with the Bank of Scotland offshore. I don’t have many options as I’m a none UK resident. They are offering a decent rate of interest on their fixed deposit account and I need a decent rate because I live on interest from my funds. I'm more concerned about safety than anything else.

Any advice would be welcome.

I'm with BOS offshore and have transferred some money in the bond as it was a good rate. Im sure The Isle Of Man is covered with protection. Jersey is not covered. Go on to the wesite it gives you all the info on safety.

Your welcome Dixie. Just spoke to them actually to transfer money and asked them about it.Isle of man is def covered so make sure it is there you ask for accounts to be opened. They are also starting internet banking so registar for that as well.
