Nope, not a tasting session sorry! http://www.petsathome.com/find/category-is-1+cat/category-is-1f+food/lifestage-is-senior_7yrs/product-is-20596#ingredients i've been looking for better food for my 10.5yr old cat, she has to have wet as she's prone to Cystitis but Felix/Whiskas etc seem to have about 4% of the meat/fish, this seems to be better? Am I right or wrong? Is this better for her?
I looked at Applaws also but they don't have Senior, i'm looking for wet & senior !

have never heard of it, but it sounds OK.
i used to give my cats Nature's Menu, which they loved

it is not senior food, even though they are seniors. i prefer dry food for my two but keep Nature's menu for the occasional treat0 -

Wow that looks good stuff @ 70% meat, P@H ones have 50% I think, you're right, it's not senior but I think i'll get her some too! After all, what's best? 70% meat for adult cats or 4% senior! I called P@H as the websites out of stock of the one I mentioned & the lady said there's a money back guarantee & it's selling really well. Am happy now I found (With your help!) 2 new foods for her. Think i'll be off to town later x0 -
it seems like a really good food, when my cat who had cancer refused to eat, i could usually tempt her to eat a little of this stuff
HINT HINT: if you email nature's menu and ask for a tester, they are quite generous in sedning our 'trial packs'0 -
I've fed this to my cat who has a food intolerance of some sort. He needs a high-meat diet with no cereal additives and the Purely range seemed to suit him well. The Nature's Diet made his intolerance far worse though - very strange.0

My puss has that. I also use Natures Menu/Harvest.
Applaws is also very very good food ( as are P@h own version )
Senior foods arent usually all that different to the regular adult0 -
Both my cat's (15 & 13) are on Natures Menu and it's the best food we have tried, they have James welbeloved in the mornings and natures menu in the evenings.
They're both indoor cats and it even makes the litter trays smell slightly less unpleasant!0 -
Nature's Menu is a really good Cat food. I work in an Animal sanctuary and we either give the cats this or Denes which is also a really good high meat content food.
Felix and Wiskas are really bad because they are packed with sugars and salt. Many of the Cats we take in are addicted to this and we have to wean them off onto better foods.
But if your Cat is having real trouble with eating and you think she could do with a boost, Turkey mince is excellent as it's a very pure lean meat.0 -
Well, I gave her Purely... last night & she loved it! I'll be getting some of the Nature's Menu today, got too many things at P@H to carry a box back! lol Will just have a look at Denes too. She (My cat) is going to the Vet for a quick check up on Friday, as she's over 10 i'm taking her 2x a year. I'll see what her weight is & ask him what he thinks (Bet he says Hills  ) Podge wasn't very impressed with Hills lol0

i tried Denes with my cats - very good quality food - but they sicked it back up again! all over my nice white fluffy rug - which has never been the same since!
another food that i found to be quite good quality is the waitrose own brand stuff - not sure if it is as good as Purely / Nature's menu etc - but for a supemarket food it is really rather good. the tuna one was the only food my little girl would eat for the last few weeks of her life, i can;t buy it now as it makes me feel so emotional - what a daft !!!!!! eh? cat food making me emotional, whatever next...:)0 -
Denes ingredients are very similar to those of Felix etc..be very careful make sure you check the labels0
