hi.....computer has been working fine, i put it on this morning all ok but my son pressed the power off button. When i put back i got a blue screen which says aproblem has been detected and windows has been shut down
it then says if its 1st tinme restart comp but if you get this again follow these steps
disable or uninstall ant antivirus, disk defragmentation and check for updated drivers. Run CHKDSK/F to check for har drive corruption and restart comp
tech info
***STOP: 0x00000024 (0x00190203,0x8AEEBA50,0x00000000
so when i restart it gives me options to start in safe mode etc...but I've using all options but each time after i have done this it takes me back to the blue screen again....once on the screen I cannot do anything.....
I totally stumped and need your help please.

I have a problem with chkdsk. I had a sudden power off and it's obviously corrupted my c: drive.
When I restart the machine it needs to run chkdsk, however I get a message saying it can't run chkdsk.
I went into Start, then run, then typed chkdsk c: /f but the machine says it can't run the fix part of chkdsk from there and asks me if I want to run it when I next power up the machine. I select yes.
I start up the machine and I get a message saying it can't run chkdsk.
Ideas please? Am I going to have to use my recovery disk?Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0
