Cadbury world - c**p restaurant

Options
Took the kids for a treat - a visit to cadbury's world, with a meal in the restaurant afterwards, as we had some xmas money to spend. Queue for the food half a mile long, staff totally lacking in customer care skills (noticing there were customers there proved a challenge), WET bread on my vegi burger and salad which was kept in a bowl of WATER  and tasted of ROT. My partner had a hot dog which had the plastic wrapper left on the end of the sausage.Took 5 minutes to get all of our order ready from a counter where it was already all cooked.
Wanted to complain I did say something to the cashier but she just said 'well we are unusually busy' then the kids were grouchy and someone else complained - ms chav of the year effing and blinding thought she was going to melt her puffa jacket style waistcoat :(
NEVER going there again.
If you do go to cadburys world take sandwiches.

  • Send them an email via their website - may be worth a refund of the meal or free tickets for another visit (with sandwiches!)
I have had brain surgery - sorry if I am a little confused sometimes ;)

may well have to! I saw the 'queen of chav' making her rather vocal complaint and the manager didnt seem very clued up at all. Be easier if they stuck to what they know best - chocolate!

  • I personally found Cadbury World a huge disappointment.

Luckily for me, i had taken sandwiches anyway so didnt have to pay them anymore money than my entrance fee.

if thats the same place i'm thinking of Sarahsaver, then it hasn't changed in years. is it in the midlands?

we had a great time touring the factory stuffing our pockets with chocolate, but that was about it.

i think there was a section devoted to world war 2, but the cafe was just the same

and to make things worse, it was bloody snowing so no escape ;)
  • The summer before last we decided to spend a week touring the theme parks etc in the midlands.

We visited Warwick Castle, Drayton Manor Park, Twycross Zoo, Butterley Steam Centre, Crich Tramway Museum, and Cadbury World.

Of the lot, the Kids favourite by a long way was Cadbury World. It took us a bit of time to find it, but we had a great time once we got there.

A classic case of "Your milage may vary" I suppose.
