Flight Cancelled, supposed to travel in 7 days

Hi,

I'm looking on some advice about what to do with the problem I have, I was booked on an Austrian Air flight to Beijing From Heathrow, with a change in Vienna. I booked through a travel agent in London I have used in the past without problems, and when I tried to print out my travel documents yesterday it informed me that there was an issue with my travel plan and to call them.

It turns out my connecting flight from Vienna to Beijing has been cancelled and neither the travel agent nor I was told about this cancellation. I'm waiting to hear back from them this morning about what happens now but even if I am offered another flight where do I stand with regards to compensation for travel arrangements made to get to the airport. Myself and my girlfriend have booked tickets on national express for the day we were supposed to fly.

Also what happens if there is another flight but they try to charge me more for it?

Any help or advice is much appreciated
