Cashback: Spending vs Buying

I am looking at regularly paying a range of people/organisations and looking at doing it via a credit card. Can you claim cashback SPENDING on individuals or organisations rather than physically BUYING goods & services.

Slight nuance, but I hope you understand what I am saying.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks!

you can pay organisations e.g. subscriptions, insurance etc with a CC which count as purchases but how do you plan to pay individuals with a credit card?
  • I will be collecting money on their behalf and wondered if, in transfering/paying money to them I could do this via a credit card and claim cashback?

in general there is no way of paying an individual with a CC.. indeed many small businesses dont accept CCs
basically the receiving person has be registered with the visa/mastercard at a considerable cost and have suitable equipment to read your credit card and get charged between 1-3% for the privilege.

Will cost you 3.4% - more than most cashback schemes...
