Pressure grows on Irish banks to recapitalise

..."The Irish government could provide a near-term positive catalyst by either endorsing the current capital strength of the Irish banks ... or simultaneously identifying a capital shortfall and proposing a capital raising," Royal Bank of Scotland analyst Cormac Leech said in a note to investors.
