Fridge Freezer safe in pantry?

Hi guys
Silly question number 4092!
I am rapidly running out of space in my kitchen and wondered if it is ok to do the above? It is just a bog standard F/F and there would be plenty of circulation room around and behind it in the pantry/understairs cupboard (if that matters?)
I did once put a non integrated table top freezer in a kitchen unit but had to take it out as it got too hot so I thought I'd better double check before I start clearing all the crap out of the pantry!
Thanks for any advice

I see no problem as long as there is sufficient ventilation.
We are sometimes confused when we see everyday objects in an unusual position. The OH had the same problem when we put a chest freezer in the garage.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0 -
Should be fine provided there is space round it.0

My freezer is inside a pantry cuboard, only about 1cm gap at the sides but plenty of room behind it, and its been like that for a year with no problems. I think it is important to make sure that there is space behind it for the air to circulate, but otherwise should be fine.0

As above, mine is in the cupboard under the stairs with little space around it and has been fine for at least 4 years0

I have a chest freezer in the cupboard under the stairs - no problem.
Thanks to MSE, I am mortgage free!

should be ok. as long as there is a half decent gap all around it.
re fresh air. if in any doubt, then just cut a small hole in the pantry door (near the bottom) and fix a small grill to it.Get some gorm.0 -
It should be okay as long as you leave enough room and ventilation. You can get condensation from a fridge freezer in small places. My neighbour gets this from his in a pantry which has only one single brick thickness and some plaster it gets black mold even though she has a small window open too0
