When you think about it just one knock to the ground could finnish that £590.00 Laptop off

Is this the very best Asus Eee PC you would recommend spec wise by that manufacturer?

It has Inbuilt Webcam and sound wise not sure what it would be like
Would this be able to handle streaming from YouTube.com

Portability & Knockability apparently this little laptop can take the knocks?
Whats the screen like?

Aldi's Pocket PC Ladies Version which has Glittering Fake diamonds on will attract the thieves:) when out and about.

  • the eee is aimed at people who don't want to carry a large amount of data in their laptop and know they're going to drop it regularly.

one knock to the ground will stand a good chance of damaging any laptop with a regular disk drive but if you want to carry video and music files round then you'll end up buying an external drive for the eee anyhow (which will be vulnerable to impact)

Hold off until after christmas for a better deal. Everything will get a lot cheaper after this christmas and IT kit tends to lose value darn fast these days.

Liking the headline selling point on the aldi laptop :
    Swarovski style
More than 300 original Swarovski crystals embedded in the notebook lid.

    ooooh, shiny things.

or on aldi.co.uk its priced at £500, why did you link to the irish aldi unless you libe in ireland
  • I would take the advice and wait until after Xmas. Also the medion is overpriced for what it offers. I think they are trying to hype it as a designer item, whereas medion is hardly a designer brand. Also the poor exchange rate with the euro means it is over priced in the Uk. For quality i would prefer the Asus
