can't send emails driving me mad

Hi firstly beware i'm not at all technically minded so simple steps please

since hotmail has been updated i can't write an email i can type in the address but not in the main body of the email. i'm using an acer aspire one netboot linux with firefox so i suspect its a firefox issue

any help is gratefully accepted as its driving me demented!

Download Windows live mail client , and send it from there.

Strange it opens for me ..it should install the WLM installer.

What browser are you using ?

So sorry youre using Linux it wont work...should of read more carefully.

firefox. the link opens but when i download the link Get me free the d/l stays in the download manager but i can't open it

did i mention i'm clueless with techie things:rotfl:

As I mentioned Microsoft are working on a fix for this ,so many people have compained about the new web interface.

Ditch Hotmail and move to Googlemail
mail.google.com

I'm not certain - but Googlemail may be able to 'fetch' Hotmail from your old address. I can certainly fetch mail from a number of other mailboxes.

At least you can use Google until Hotmail works for you
Afterwards Googlemail can be forwarded to your hotmail address if that's where you end up.

Actually this link may help if you install the FF addon , I cant tell you anymore as I
do not use it in knoppix or ubuntu .
