Stocks and Shares or ISA - Which is best?

Thanks. I know that in my logical brain and so if my property hadn't done so well, my shares would have done better - hence the advice to diversify. It's just been a bit unfortunate (since I have no former experience of the stockmarket) that the first time I dabbled, I had a bad experience; it's rather offputting and whilst I would probably be wise to transfer some of my property assets into the stockmarket now, it's a bit scarey!dunstonh wrote:Property is just as prone to price drops as the stockmarket is. If you look back at the average timescales when drops are due, we are due for a property price drop in a couple of years time. They just tend to happen at different times to the stockmarket.0
