You can certainly freeze cooked turkey
As you have your answer, I'll add this to the leftover turkey thread, to keep ideas together.:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -

I'm so glad I found this! Due to illness my parents couldn't make it to lunch the other day so I've got absolutely tons of turkey left. I was wondering whether I could freeze some and now I know! I'm going to make a curry tomorrow but am getting so fed up of turkey that I think that has to be it for now. The rest will be cut up and put into the freezer for stir fries, curries or sunday lunches. That'll keep us going for a while.0

Can I just check (before poisoning the family
) we bought a frozen turkey crown, defrosted it and cooked it Christmas day. Some leftovers have been used for sandwiches etc, but we had some left so popped it in the freezer. Is this ok? Planning on defrosting at a later date and putting in a pie.
So frozen, defrosted, cooked, cooled, frozen, defrosted, cooked, eaten?!?!
ThanksSlightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....0 -

This is absolutely fine. I never have turkey in the house (don't host Christmas) but do this all the time with chicken and other meats with no issues.0 -

Hi. I've got at least half of an Aldi 4 bird roast left. Can I make some into sandwiches and freeze the whole sandwich, ready for back to work next week? TIA0

I still have loads of turkey. We got a 4.5k one and there are 5 of us, although 3 are children.
Will make a curry tonight.
Want to make a pie tomorrow.
What type of sauce shall I make for the pie?
Can I just bag up the turkey and freeze it, or would it be better frozen in gravy?
Never done turkey before so it's all new to me!
Thanks
