Has anyone received refund from caa yet for XL failure

:mad: I received a claim number from caa on the 9.10.08 but thats it, i havnt been able to speak to anyone on the phone they just keep fobbing me off with excuses. I booked with TCD by debit card, was suppose go to Florida last month, i am really losing it, we didnt have our once in a life time and holiday and our money back in time for xmas would put a smile on our faces. Has anyone else got any refunds back yet?, even if I knew that it was coming (or not) would put my mind at ease.:mad: :mad: :mad:

Unfortunately you won't see your money until probably well into 2009. XL was the biggest holiday company collapse ever, they had more than 200,000 forward bookings, that equals a lot of claims for ATOL.
Its not ideal, but with that amount of claims to go through and the funds to secure it was never going to be a quick process. CAA currently saying you should get a claim within 12 weeks of receiving an acknowledgment http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=1804&pagetype=900
