click on party bag presents and it gives you the option of what price you are looking for. They have also added a little section for xmas aswell.

This is the company run by Prince Williams girlfriends mum, I have used them a couple of times for kids b'day bags, very good prices, and brilliant with delivery times etc. I think you add the date of your party so they guarantee your parcel arrives in time, you could always put the beginning of December just so you've got time to fill all those stockings up!! Another good thing is you order how much you need of something, so it saves you having to buy packs of toys where you usually have not enough or too many!!

ooh.... feeling really broody today, and it's times like this I think I'd love more kids!!!

    Thanks :T

Hee hee, my youngest is only 14 weeks but she sooooo does not want to be a baby anymore, nope she's wanting to sit up, watches what you eat, knows all her brothers & sisters faces :D I solove the baby stage but they grow too quickly

Oh and I just thought once schools break up your going to have your hands full - Have you thought about buying some cheap plain Baubles and some glitter glue and letting them create their own Baubles - could do it each year - snap a pic of them and then theres a small collection of baubles for when they move out :)

They could even create a bauble each for a relative as a small gift :)

  • I have two girls aged 7 and 8. I have splurged in Wilkinson's, Poundland and Hawkins Bazaar for their stockings. I would recommend High School Musical/Hannah Montana/Camp Rock things if your 7 year old is into any of those.

I've managed to pick up Hannah Montana stickers, HSM pencil case and magnets for £1 each. Also HSM socks on sale in Woolies, HSM lip gloss set for £1.99 in Wilko's. Also stationery goes down well with my two. This includes Hawkin's Spy Pens which are 99p for the set of two and some post-it notes.

Poundland Basingstoke also had the My Littlest Petshop Funfax for £1 when I went on Saturday. The RRP is £5.99. Most young girls would love these and they look much more like a £6 gift than a £1 bargain.:)

I've bought my 7 year old an elastic band shooter from Hawkins, which your 11 year old might enjoy. How about 'the Dangerous Book for Boys' or one of the Survival Guides if he's into that kind of thing. A spy ear listening device? My 8 year old is getting the Fingerprint Kit from the Science Museum for her birthday. It's currently reduced on Amazon.

Wilkinson's have bags (nets) of chocolate coins on two for 99p. I suspect places like Superdrug will have too.

HTH your creative juices flow. :)

  • For your older girl, how about a very very sparkly picture frame with a photo of everyone that she loves. All children disabled or otherwise love things that are sparkly and glittery. Otherwise I second (or third) the choccy coins and the satsuma they are 100% obligatory. I also like a nice chocolate Santa.
    Loving the dtd thread. x
