Christmas stocking ideas for ages 13, 11, 8, 7, 5, 2 & baba..

Hi everyone

As per title, I am really stuck for ideas for my little one's stockings this year
Got main pressie's sorted and I want to go down "traditional" route for them for the stocking's - if there is such a thing anymore :D

Ok here are ages and gender's

Girl - 13 (she is severely disabled so I am limited here with novelty toys)
Boy - 11
Boy - 8
Girl - 7
Boy - 5
Girl - 2 1/2
Baba - 3 months (girl)

Got their annuals, took advantage of the recent bogof at WH Smith's :D
Also going to do snowman soup for them for their stockings :T
Hope you can offer some suggestions for me :T

Wow!!!! I am just about coping with organising presents for 2 children, you must have to be super organised!!!!

How about Glow in the dark stars etc for some of them??? My Lo's had some last year, and love them. I got them from hawkins bazarr, and they had allsorts, my 1 year old (at the time) son had Glow in the dark sheep (which we've lost!) can't see those on their website, but perhaps the shop might have some.

Bag of choccie coins and satsuma, you could probably find the coins on BOGOF in a couple of places.

  • We always used to have a satsuma, a banana and a bag of chocky coins in our stockings when we were kids ... the banana always got eaten on our mum and dads bed whilst we opened the stockings :D

I agree, satsuma and choc coins are a must!! you cant fill a stocking without them. I buy mine the big choc coins though.

What about books, top trumps for the older ones, yoyo, socks, activity set (colour puzzle book) cd for the oldest boy?

Thanks again, so where would you think the best shops would be to visit to maximise all those fab suggestions? I guess best for price and choice is what I mean :D

I am quite limited to travelling but do have Home Bargins, a new Hawkins Bazaar, PoundShop and the normal big stores.

Can you reccommend any sites on the internet?

you could try www.halfcost.co.uk they sell off ex catalogue stock, postage is a bit pricey but i think there's a 15% discount code knocking about (don't think I can post it here) they also have 3 ofr 2, 4 for 3, bogoff offers a fair amount too

    www.partypieces.co.uk

click on party bag presents and it gives you the option of what price you are looking for. They have also added a little section for xmas aswell.

This is the company run by Prince Williams girlfriends mum, I have used them a couple of times for kids b'day bags, very good prices, and brilliant with delivery times etc. I think you add the date of your party so they guarantee your parcel arrives in time, you could always put the beginning of December just so you've got time to fill all those stockings up!! Another good thing is you order how much you need of something, so it saves you having to buy packs of toys where you usually have not enough or too many!!

ooh.... feeling really broody today, and it's times like this I think I'd love more kids!!!
  • Someone on here recommended a great site - here is the post - it's cheap and it has some really good bits and pieces for stockings. And really quick delivery too.
