It is now 5.78% AER for six months and 5.55% AER for 12 months.
The 6.85% rate has been closed for some time but I understand that if you had applied before the rate was withdrawn deposits upto the 30th November will be honoured.0 -

I opened mine online on 2nd November. I was a bit worried about the paperwork not showing up so I 'phoned them on 13th. I was told my
account had been opened on the 12th. Paperwork came through and
sent back with opening cheque on 14th.
Just waiting for Icesave money to show up now to transfer in.
I hope it's all done and dusted by the 30th :eek: I'm getting too old for

I got the paperwork 28th oct but held on until last week then sent them £1 to open the account, my icesave went into my bank this morning I called saga they said it would be OK as long as they got my lump sum by the end of the month 6.64% 1 year fixed monthly its on its way now.
