Car Cleaning

I bought a metallic black car recently and it shows the road dirt very well.
Now I need a detergent that works, nothing with wax or any silicone shine enhancer that can come after I get the muck off. I use a brush, a sponge and bucket. Who knows a product that works?

Your local car parts or Halfords store will have the range, if you don't want to order on line.

They have converted me from the exellent http://www.merproducts.co.uk & certainly a superior & easier to use product than Autoglym.

The detergent in the actual bodywork wash IS FIRST CLASS - but do follow all the instructions, to take full advantage of the benefits, of the range.

and dont use a brush on your car!

you will end up with minor swirl marks all over it

Autoglym or Meguirs will do a decent enough job - wash it using a microfibre wash mitt too. For better results after washing/drying use a wax/sealant - makes washing it much easier for the next 3-4 months.
