My husband got made redundant 2 weeks ago.
He got a job last thursday and started today.
He didn't sign on or anything, we have too much savings and knew he wouldn't get anything, but now somebody has said he should have signed on to keep his NI contributions right. Will 2 weeks not paying it really make a difference?

He'll have lost a weeks NI so hardly a massive amount and it won't make any difference.0
