I have cancelled an order of XIII and more importantly Enter the Matrix on Gamecube so expect this to be in stock for a limited time only (I ordered 5).

Direct link is above. Maybe if someone is looking they can click the "order" facility and see if it actually does work and that they will send you an email when they come into stock.
  • I wish i had seen this earlier!! Could have bought some quality PS2 titles, but instead i seem to be wasting more and more money on XBOX 360 games, £50 a piece! Its good and all but £50..... is pushing it.

Yeh i noticed online yesterday from play that all titles are £39.99 delivered which at the moment is very very good. This applies to all the pre order ones aswell i believe.

Got a couple of the 1p strategy guides recently, Full Spectrum Warrior and Half Life 2, staff surprised but happy to sell them.
(don't think I didn't notice that list is nicked from my DVDF post ;) )

Only the strategy guides list. The rest was mine and freecycle's hard work. :p

I just went to GAME Oxford Street today...
You had to have been there...the look on the assistant's face when the games scanned in at £0.98 (Xbox: Tiger Woods 2003, Splinter Cell, Timesplitters 2, XIII) - "No... that can't be right, let me try a different machine" - he calls another guy - "How has this guy chosen all the £0.98 titles?!?" - After telling me that the sequels to the aforementioned game are "much better and much more worth it" in an attempt to stop me from buying, very reluctantly finally scanned through and let me buy the games. Soon afterwards the assistant and a few others got all other copies of the titles which I purchased and put them aside marking their names on it for their own purchase... with their staff discount, of course :(

Ahahaha this thread has given me so much fun. Definitely deserves a thanks.
As suspected before, most of the games have the stickers with their full price, but they scan in at the discounted price, to the horror of whoever is serving you.

    Thanks,

Thanks for the info, I've just decided to sign up as I thought the benefits were worth it!

However, popped into my local Game (2 of them in fact). Managed to get a strategy guide for 1p (much to the assistants surprise), but when they scanned through 'Enter the Matrix' for the XBox, the price came up as £9.98

    Ah well, no harm done!

    Thanks peeps :rudolf:
