hi all
have recently joined an online dvd rentals company ( to save me buying the 24 boxset) , unfortunately they have not arrived in sequence ! series 2 disc 1 then series 4 disc 1 , so need to copy the later episodes so i can watch them in order. My pc is a few years old and only has cdrw and dvd rom - bearing in mind that i took out this subscription to try and save money , what are my options?
is there any free software that will let me rip dvd's to my hard drive or failing that is there a cheap external or internal drive where i can play and burn simultaneously.
thanks

Mmm if its copying a rental DVD or film that isnt made by you, i.e Homevideo.
Then this is illegal and cant be discussed, PM a BG just to make sure though.0 -
Complain to the rental company about it. Copying DVDs is illegal and cannot be discussed on these forums0

I do apologise intel , darksun
I hadn't even considered the implications of it being illegal !
when i posted i was only looking for a solution to the rental companies ineffiency
I would like to point out though that these were solely for my own private use.
I will pm a board guide to see if they will lock the thread."The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page."
