I know its blackmail- I know its wrong, but this is a raffle (for charity?) and morrisons are a big company.

So it's OK to try and rip off a shop if it's for charity? That's an interesting moral outlook.

There is no reason why they wouldn't give you a refund - as long as you have the receipt - after all, if you claim that the goods are not suitable for what they were purchased for (eg, the OH doesn't like that brand), then under the Sales of Goods Act, they are legally obliged to refund your money (or in as much as I understand the act, anyway)

the person buying them should check or know which beers/lagers they're oH likes to drink and this reason for returning them is rubbish, they are suitable and they are fit for purpose

OT but thought I would share [ and yes this is a true story ]

last week someone I know went to Morrisons 15 miles away , bought 2 tins of sweets for £8

travelled that evening to Asda [ another 5 miles ]for end of day bargains and saw Asda had them 2 for £7, bought 2

returned to Morrisons the following morning [ another return journey of 30 miles] got a refund and thought he had saved a £1 :rotfl:

Buy some more lager on the better offer for the charity, & keep the stuff you have for you. Your OH (if he's like most men) will eventually drink it all ;)
