How long after closing can I get a new offer?

I am about to transfer a couple of balances and this will leave 2 of my cards with zero balances and then I will be transfering 2 more onto one of these if I get any B/T offers (I have always in the past when I cleared the balance)

This should leave me with MINT Tesco and HSBC cards with no balance.

Does anyone know how long after I close them I would be able to apply as a new customer?

Try checking out the stoozing board as the folks there are far more knowledgable in these kind of things.

i have just cancelled my mint, natwest and egg cards that i no longer used

mint and natwest advised i would be able to reapply 9 months from the date of the official closure and egg was 12 months from date of closure,

i would assume tesco is the same as natwest and mint as they are currently run by rbs group i beleive not sure about hsbc though

It always used to be 8 months for Mint, so it looks like they've extended this a bit.

Cards from the RBSG stable include RBS itself and Ulster, so there are alternatives to Mint and Tesco (although RBS, NatWest, & Mint don't currently have any good offers do they?).

You need to have an HSBC current account now to be able to apply for their credit card.

I do have a current account, I got the card last year on 13 months 0% from them. Just B/T the last remaining £733 onto Natwest 0% till June.

If Mint and Tesco are 9 months I will get them closed in a couple of weeks then. That should work out nicely I think, won't incure much interest. Thanks for the info
