I read on a forum that travelodge declines your payment if you book more then 1 nigth, is that true. :S

No, that's not true. I've stayed in a travelodge for more than one night more than once and I had no trouble booking for two nights. Although I did get locked out with my key card one time but a quick trip to reception to get access solved the problem.
