Monthly/Quartley Electric Bill vs Charge Cards?

We spend about £35 a week on Electric. Its a 3 bedroom house with 5 adults, all bathing/shower everynight. Dinners everynight, tvs in everyroom etc. You get the picture. We have a charge key and was wondering if we would save money by going to a electric bill. Mum rang british gas and they say we would only save about £80-£100 a year if we changed to them.

Whats the best way to save money on our electric?

With the big 6 suppliers you will always save money by not having a prepayment meter. The cheapest tariffs are normally (a) online paperless billing and (b) paid by direct debit.
