HELP PLEASE.....................................................................
I've done a huge curry in the SC which smells fab but having stupidly used an entire jar of pataks instead of half its too damn hot to eat :rolleyes:
Any ideas on how to tone it down?????

you could add cream &/or yogurt
cook up an extra batch of the ingredients minus the Patak's & mix the two together
cook some vegetables to pad it out with & mix them in
any combination of the above should help0 -
Yep, adding pretty much any dairy product to a hot dish helps cool things down. If you check out the Cooking section of the MEGA Index sticky at the top of Old Style and look under ... erm... "herbs and spices" I think, you'll find other tips on taking the sting out of things.
