How do I stop a shaggy flotaki rug from moulting?

Can someone please help?
I have a white shaggy 'flotaki' rug (pure wool pile) from Argos. Since we bought it, it has not stopped moulting. Every day I have to vacuum little bits of pile and I am so tired of it. I have just washed it as per instructions, but how do I stop it moulting?

Hi I bought a pure wool rug for my living room I have the same problem with the moulting its a nightmare.
I will watch this thread to see if anyone can suggest anything.
