Hertsmere Council offers a lot of reduced price safety items including Babydan stairgates at just £5 (although they were not suitable for our stairs), high SPF sun lotion, protective film for glass doors etc. and safety packs including cupbaord latches, socket covers etc. Just ask your health visitor wherever you live and they will soon tell you what's available.0
