Can anyone recommend a hotel in Santa Monica?

Hi, I'm planning a trip to Vegas and LA next year and will be spending a couple of nights in Santa Monica. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel that isn't too pricey? From what I've seen so far, even the two-star places are in excess of £100 per night....I don't want to pay more than say £120 per night per room. Any advice gratefully recieved!!!

  • try priceline, I've booked at the sheraton for xmas. sixty pounds a night
  • You could also try the Seashore Motel on Main St, great location just a block back from the beach you can walk to venice beach or up to the pier. if you can get one of there new apartments they are fab but if not the motel rooms are ok, good rates too.
My mind tends to wander............If found please return;)

    I can spell...................I just cant type:confused:
