Atlantic money back scheme

Hi

I signed up with Atlantic for gas and elec 2 years ago on direct debit. When I joined I was promised that after 12 months I would get one month's payment credited back to my account, based on an average of the last 12 month's payments.

A year later I duly got money back equivalent to a month's DD, but only on my elec. Have only just realised this and went back to query it. Atlantic agreed it was a mistake and has also promised to credit me for gas as well. If you signed up for dual fuel, worth knowing this in case it's a common mistake!

It also seems that Atlantic only takes you DD into account in calculating the average. For example, I've made overpayments on top of my DDs, which they don't take into account. If I'd known this I would not have topped up, but simply increased my monthly payment. Also worth knowing!
