I`ll keep posting re progress on this one. One of my bonds matures on 18th nov 2008 and I chose to let it go to full maturity. I weighed up 6 weeks lost interest v an unknown time scale

Acording to the Telegraph report today the FSCS is saying from the trial run last week of 10,000 account holders, the majority are opting to take the money now electronically.
The FSCS presumably need to watch these figures to determine both cashflow and numbers who will need forms.0 -

The lag you experience may not be typical though as they are on the 'improving' curve of payouts. With later maturers they'll have hopefully cleared all the non fixed payouts and can concentrate on predictable varying maturiities and will be able to staff or automate accordingly.0 -

I have had payment of the icesave current account. The money arrived this morning and I thought the late recipients of e mail 2 might be interested re the fixed rate speed0

I received my 2nd e-mail late on Friday afternoon for my Fixed Rate account which matures in Jan. I decided to keep it going and am waiting for the paperwork to arrive. Does anyone know how long it will take to receive the paperwork - has anyone yet received it for this type of account. Am very new to these forums though have read pretty much all the Icesave ones in the last few weeks and found them to be extremely useful, so thanks to everyone.0
