Hi,
Just had boiler fixed and serviced by manufacturers after it has been leaking gas apparantly a fault with this boiler (boulter buderus 600 28c) and another model! (may remember from post few days ago) I have noticed few drips coming from underneath and on closer inspection condensation trap is full and overflowing- emptied this as have been shown by plumber previously, but it has filled up again- any ideas?

When our boiler was fitted a permenent drain was also fitted to the trap.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

being a 'trap', it is supposed to fill to a certain level before running to drain.
i guess the drain is blocked or the trap itself is leaking somewhere.
hope this helps. Please note, we've had to remove your signature because it was sh*te!0 -
The trap should never need emptying, it should run outside to a drain. If it does not, it's not fitted correctly. If it does, it's either blocked, or the fall is incorrect. The fitting is covered by the installation instructions, and either the corgi regs or building regs.0
