Is there anyone else who is experiencing difficulties withdrawing large amounts from ING? I even asked for a CHAPS payment but 7 days later all I am getting is "we are looking into it". The CHAPS fee was refunded on the same day that the payment was requested. Perhaps they had no intention of fulfilling this request.

40K+ by BACS in two chunks last week all went smoothly (prudently reducing my exposure to ING, no panic involved)

Perhaps a good decision Alan.
I am at odds with the statement on their website.."unable to process CHAPS payments".
