Clutching at straws about something and nowt here but does anyone know if I could get an 'L' type connector for the HDMI socket on a Sony LCD. Problem is that the HDMI socket is located on the side of the tele so when you plug in the HD from sky it sticks out at the side. As I say summat and nowt but the misses wants me to see if I can sort it.

Yes you can get them this one is an add on (so saves having to buy a new cable) but you can also buy L shaped cables to.......just try googleIf you find yourself in a fair fight, then you have failed to plan properly
I've only ever been wrong once! and that was when I thought I was wrong but I was right0 -
Sure you can:

Are you sure that's the only HDMI socket on there? My Sony TV's have a couple on the back as well as the one on the side.0 -
Googling for "hdmi angle" returns a number of angled HDMI cable adapters. HDMI adapters are all the same, so you don;t need a special one for your Sony TV.Super geek.0

Cat695, your link is for a female to female adaptor. This is not what you need. You need a male to female adaptor if you want to go down this route.0
