opening an account with Squaregain

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can remember how long it took to open a Squaregain account?

I've applied online, then it required me to send them ID, which I had this morning...

Is there any way that i could speed up the process? as I would like to start trading asap. Do they provide the account numebr & pin over the phone or via e-mail??

Cheers,

  • I have an account with Squaregain and cannot fault them so far. I applied about the end of July-ish and everything was sorted within about a fortnight or so. (I did apply with a written application though, and sent all the supporting documents at the same time.)

Your account details and PIN number will arrive separately by post for security, so I'm afraid you may have to just sit tight and wait for it. I also doubt you'll be able to speed up the process, especially since this is the Christmas holidays and there is a short paragraph on the 'My Accounts' page telling you the reduced open times.

Just sit tight for now and think of the money. ;)

but did they arrive on the same day??

    cheers
  • According to my big box of correspondence, I receieved separate letters for each of the PIN number and account number. They are dated the same day (13th July 2005 - thus invalidating my assertion that it was 'late' July), so I assume they were both posted the same day. As for whether they arrived the same day... they might have done, but I honestly can't remember. Hope that helps.
