  • Got 2nd email on Saturday morning for my wife's account, money in linked acount this morning already transferred out to new home.

Haven't got 2nd email for my account but she's the one with all the money!
  • Just to say - received my money including interest today! Brilliant work HMG.
  • got my claim processed last friday and the money was in my account today (wednesday).

Claim processed on Friday morning shows as uncleared funds on my NatWest account today. Not available to move to Esavings or anywhere else till tomorrow though I believe or perhaps later than that.

If its not cleared it isn't actually there but you just know its on its way.
  • After your money hits your account do you have to close the Icesave account or is done automatically?

You won't be able to log in to access your Icesave accounts from soon after a successful claim so, presumably, they are automatically closed.

Got my second email Friday evening.... received money in linked account today!!

Temporarily moving the whole load across into B&B while I wait for my ISA certificate and seek a new home for the ISA money, probably at a rate about half what it was getting in Icesave.
  • After a very smooth process I received my ICESAVE isa into my nominated account this morning. I trust it is ok to move this sum, or even divide it between different accounts until the ISA certificate arrives? So long I guess as I eventually re-invest the amount stated on the certificate?

Do you not feel at all fed up that you have had to wait two to three weeks longer than many of us to get your money back with no interest paid during the extended waiting period?

Naturally yes, but then it was always going to be a lottery as to who got their money back early. . . The process itself was simple but unfortunately I would appear to be one of the last to receive compensation. For this reason I am keen to re-invest it as soon as possible in an account paying decent interest as God knows when the ISA certificate will arrive!

Can't see why not. Some folks are reporting FSCS helpdeskers saying that certificates won't be out until end Dec, so it's probably a good idea to do so.
