Pigpen - I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't really like having new things. If you're antsy about a new kettle, imagine how I feel about a whole new bathroom! I haven't relaxed yet and I'm still using it like it's somebody else's :D

    still catching up, have eaten!!
anyway, i KNOW my postman does this, he done it last week, i was sat in the living room and saw him do it!!!!

You need to ring and complain. I do when they deliver the post late at work. Was 3.30 the other week, I rang, complained. They said it is not deemed late until after 3pm  said they would email his team leader and he would be spoken to. I know he was spoken to as I also complained he was shoving the post under the counter in front of customers (in the bank) who were being served at the time! He didn't do that for a while!!!!

AAaaawwww... does that mean I'm special or that I am 'special' too?

:rotfl: :rotfl: I am going to say that you are special, not 'special' coz I don't want a mule flying past my ear... (or even connecting... )

Have been a good flylady today and done my Monday list - just finishing off my extras as determined to get them done today and not have anything to carry over to tomorrow:

Monday Mayhem - Living Room, Hall and Stairs
    [STRIKE]Level 1[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Vacuum through the living room, hall and stairs[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Level 2 [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Dusting, even if around everything
Remove clutter making sure stairs especially are safe
Clean windows and all glass.. including the tv screen
Fill a box with clutter from around the room.. make everyone gather their own belongings and put them away.. whatever if left goes in the bin![/STRIKE] - I have put it all in the respective bedrooms for them to put away... :)

    [STRIKE]Level 3 [/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe and water plants
Wipe all the paintwork.. right up the stairs.. and back down again
Vacuum under furniture you can manage to move without hurting yourself[/STRIKE]

Extra Mission: Pick one or more of the following tasks –
    [STRIKE]Clear a hotspot [/STRIKE]
Sort out coats and bags and shoes – wonder why this is on here????? :)
[STRIKE]Binbag dance.. Get a binbag.. fill it and bin it!!!
Wash any cushions, throws or curtains that need it[/STRIKE] Did the rug, must get that out of the bath sharpish... mmmm, where will I dry it?
    My Dailies
    DW x 1
    WM x 1 + 1 + 1
    TD x 1 + 1
My M.A.C.A.W challenge this week is............. To exercise every day and try to go swimming at least twice a week break stuff down into 15 or 30 minute manageable chunks and do one thing from My stuff, Business stuff and Club stuff every day.........
    Mon / Tues / Wed / Thur / Fri / Sat / Sun
    My Stuff
Fill in Life Insurance trustee stuff - going to sit and do this in a minute...
    Business Stuff
Enter invoices/receipts onto QuickBooks - only a few left to do if DD ever gets back...???
    Club Stuff.
Do posters for Stanford Forum for their website - half done

So am quite pleased. Was just going to go do the spuds as we are having a roast today (cooked the beef yesterday and none of us fancied it)... couldn't believe that beef was cheaper than pork in tescos on Saturday! by a lot too (ours was £4.50 and I will get a lot out of that, Pork started at £6!!!) Hubby not home till 8pm, so we'll all sit and eat then... :D But think I should sort the rug out quickly... :o
See you all in a bit...

  • I am so frustrated - how do I get a Xmas tree image in here? I've tried copying and pasting/saving image etc - how do you get it into the message?

Anyway - Monday again - and here I am - Level 1! Vacuuming lounge and hall will be done tomorrow as I have to go to work again in a minute - and it needs doing - leaves keep blowing in everytime the front door opens, and wet feet leave marks on the mat.
Debt free by 22 January 2009 - thanks to an unexpected inheritance - take heart - it DOES HAPPEN!

Yeah ours at home has been late like that a couple of times. Personally I am not that worried about house post being later but the work post could and quite often does contain stuff that needs actioning that day ie cheques that need paying in which can be for large sums.

There was one time he did it and I had been waiting for a week for this payment and it arrived 6:30 on a Friday so I couldn't get it in bank and the ebay moron left negative feedback because I refused to send the item until the payment had cleared.. although they never even contacted me about it.. I was well pee'd off.. but the payment had been posted on the Monday so there was nothing either of us could have done.

Best go feed the marauding horde... they want singing cake...

Peaches having a mad half hour.. again!!

!!!!!! possessed my nanna to buy the Moom a fluffing keyboard for her birthday..???

Oh I know.. she thought it would annoy me.. well it doesn't.. but it is a little shrill!
