I would check the following regarding the damp and if not, get someone professional in (a friend first if you can or does your dad know anyone?) to check it out...
    • Is it an outside wall? is there a downpipe anywhere near it? If so, it might be emptying against the wall instead of in a drain.
    • Is the guttering OK? it could be overflowing down that particular bit of wall
    • Is it an inside wall? is it next to the bathroom? is the bath sealed properly?
    • Is it near the kitchen? could it be the washing machine plumbing?
    • Is a radiator or any plumbing leaking?
Sorry I couldn't be more help, but hopefully it is one of those things, as they are easily fixed, most for no money at all, if not, it could be a damaged damp course, which is quite expensive, hence you should get someone to check for you... HTH

    go to the docs!
Thanks Flower daisysmile.gifYou must be [strike]psycho[/strike] :p psychic or something cos I got a letter this morning from my doc saying that he'd like me to make an appointment and if I was unable to attend he'd happily visit me at home! Very surprised cos home visits are rare. I asked for one when my ME started as I was in so much pain and unable to get out of bed but he said he didnt do them.:confused:I don't need a home visit now (but it's nice to know I can have one if I need one) so I'm gonna make an appointment for tomorrow; I was planning to anyway ;).

You were right first time... :rotfl:
Glad you are feeling well enough to go, but thought they would... Good luck with it today...:D
 Christmas play  Someone remind me why I am writing this ........... or not at the moment

?????? do you have to write the play? seem to have missed that bit... will this help? http://www.lazybeescripts.co.uk/YouthTheatre/Index.htm

She wouldnt listen to me if i told her the sky was blue...and the grass green ;) She hates me..... she says she doesnt .... but its damn obvious! If youve ever seen the film "Monster in law" thats us! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Im quite happy for him to stay and work at things, i think its perfectly salvagable and hes done 2 of the 3 things i asked him too, plus every relationship needs working at, for better and worse an all that. But hes insisting its best he goes :( BUT today he did something im so proud of him for ..........he finally spoke to the CCCS for debt conselling :D:D:D If nothing else least i know he's gonna be dealing with his financial issues - which can only be a good thing for him and sarah :)
Sarah must be VERY tired... she was eating her tea of fish fingers and chips.. (bad mummy here :p ) and i went into the kitchen to get a drink... was gone 2 seconds and come back in to find her fast asleep sat in her highchair... face down in a fishfinger!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Shame about MIL, I get on with mine now (has only taken 27 years!!!:rotfl: ), we're not best buddies or anything, but she would talk about his ex's in front of me and how wonderful they were, and once, when we 'were on a break' and I was round to see his sis, she started planning how to get them back together!!! His sis was NOT impressed...

At at least you want to work at it, many don't and give in at the first hurdle - you never know unless you try - maybe he feels he has to go, but if he's making an effort now, has seen that he's wrong and just doesn't want to say??? Don't want to build any hopes up though. Thing is with everything you have both been through, you're bound to be stressed and relationships always suffer first - at least he's making the effort now, maybe he's doing that 'growing up' bit all in one go???:D
