permanent LED light in mouse

Got a corded optical mouse given to me for xmas and i've noticed that the light is on all the time -even when the pc is turned off-is this normal? :snow_grin

    Yes, this is normal. (My optical mouse does it as well, so you're not alone! :)) What usually happens is the computer doesn't completely "power off" (cut the electric supply into the Power Unit). The motherboard is still powered up whilst the rest of the components are shut down. It therefore continues to power the mouse and keyboard. ;)

    I didn't know that - I'm gonna be inspecting the underside of my mouse next time the PC is off :rotfl: ;)
