Just put them in a baking tin and pop them in. for about 30 minutes at 180.C.

DW does this with fresh sausages that have been frozen - straight from the freezer.

I think that normally takes about 30 mins (although it may be at 200).

I think oven cooked sausages taste the best by far :)

they were very nice apparently! Took about 40 minutes to cook though, so a bit longer. Hubby groaned when i said i was going to do them in oven, said they'd be tough and chewy, but they weren't. Far easier then standing frying them!

  • I almost always cook my sausages in the oven, I love the fact you can just go away and leave them without standing checking them, you don't have to add extra fat usually, and they always taste fine. Next time it would be worth planning to cook them in the oven, that way you can make sure you fill up the oven with other veggies, spuds, other baking etc. Also if you have to make a cooked breakfast for 4 or more people, cooking the bacon, sausages, mushrooms, tomatoes etc in the oven is a great idea !

  • I think you can do fried eggs as well, although I suppose they'd actually be called "baked eggs" :)
