Hi im Carlie im a single mum on benifits,
like alot of people i am seriously struggling with money at the moment, already this month i have had 3 bank charges at £35 a go but i managed to get one of them refunded.
i have two more due to come out monday and tuesday both at £35.
i have 25 pounds in the bank and due to get my benifits wednessday and thursday.
i have telephoned the bank and exsplained that if they take these charges they will be putting me in serious financial hardship but they have said because they have already refunded previously they will not do it again, i am at a loss of what to do, is there any way around this at all???
any advice much apreciated.
Thanks
Carlie

Only reinstate your DD's when you're back on your feet.0 -
I can only echo the advice above from YorkshireBoy. Paying by DD - in particular utility bills - normally has some tangible benefits in the form of discounts. But that's wholly defeated if you're incurring charges as a result.
So cancel all of them and manage the bills by cash / SO or bill payment - that way you're in charge of the outgoings. If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
