chasing my tail looking for decent interest rates

I am finding the whole malarky stressful. I find a good rate and blink, then it has gone.

My mind is going in circles: when will my icesave money be in the account? when will I get the form for fixed rate maturity? when will I get the fixed rate money? How much do I need to keep in my account as cash flow, to top up my small pension and pay my bills? will inflation go up or down? shall I buy a fixed rate bond and how much can I squeeze out of my account until more drops in?

Don`t answer any of my thoughts. I am just off-loading and de-stressing

Poor old Milarky - maybe you could try taking him a bit at a time? ;)

You need to be quick in these strange times - he who hesitates...
You've never seen me, but I've been here all along - watching and learning...
  • Kittie, I know exactly how you feel I feel just the same as you, the whole chasing interest rates, bonds versus instant access etc extremely tiring as well. The interest rates are like the scarlet pimpernel, here then they are gone oh well rant over. Look on the bright side though, today they are probably higher than they are going to be next month!!!
