I am very lucky... I work for a postcard company already mentioned in this thread and we're allowed to help ourselves for 'personal use'. I think I've saved a fortune!

As long as your piece of card can survive a rough trip with Royal Mail, use it. My only advice is never to use pinking sheers to give your card a 'rough edge in teh bag so the judge will pick it out'. I used to handle comp entries for a supermarket magazine and got numerous papercuts! Needless to say, I never drew them out of the bag for this very reason :j
