  • i make my own hun, I bought a paper cutter from argos (as i cant cut a straight line for toffee lol ) and just get pastel or plain card and measure and cut into four
    saves me lots of money as i used to buy them and they were quite expensive

  • I get all mine free, I have never paid for postcards - cinema, coffee shops, mags, online, all sorts of places give away free postcards HTH

  • I just used up a load of multi coloured index cards for recent comps... can't promise they will give you any wins,. but I haven't had any returned to me! I dont see why the lines should make any difference... but who knows.

    make your own, cut out from any cereal boxes etc used all my xmas cards up so ordered some from the postcard store, pricey yeah but i soo love the designs and nearest cinema is 40 miles away that has postcards so no chance im doing that:rotfl:

    im gonna bring back hundreds of disney postcards from orlando this year, taking an extra suitcase just for them;) wonder if dh will let me though:rotfl:

    or use back of envelopes:D

    make all my own as well, & also get them free from lots of places, also use greeting card factory & print my own, and use sealed envelopes for when it's a p/card comp with lots of answers

    please be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly. k2u58ioz4c8e.png

    I posted last nite how i do not live near a cinema/tkmax/ starbucks etc[all suggested places to pick them up], so i googled "postcards free samples" and got sent promotional packs, some usable,some not. I thought this might be of interested to mse's wishing to start postals!

    Thanks guys - I tried those links Kim, one i couldnt find the samples on lol - the first I think, and one of the others the request was returned as that email didnt exsist anymore - strange anyhow told hubby were going to borders tomorrow ;) Searched the house for a ream of card stock I bought but cant find it - sending hubby under the stairs tomorrow too lol
    The index cards seem a bit flimsy - suppose I could get the glue out and set DS on - oh and not airmailing was only part of royal mail site that mentioned minimum sizes for sending
    Happy with any wins this year :A
  • I purchase them in bulk lots of 1000 or more on ebay. I have gotten them for 99p for 1000 plus postage. It's cheaper than buying them in the shops.
