I noticed that someone has won this comp. I'm slightly confused as it isn't supposed to end til the 31/03 but if you look at the letter (on i won board) then you can see that it says something about being the first 10 entries recieved. Does prima run their comps like this? I checked to see if there was any of the same comps that prima ran but it's just coming up with the one that apparantly hasn't ended. I could be missing something here and it wouldn't surprise me as pregnancy seem to dumb me down a bit. Lol!!:rotfl: :rotfl:
It was me that recieved this and it clearly stated on the letter it was from a prima magazine competition and that my entry was one of the first 10 recieved. I stil have the letter thats all that was said apart from the usual congrats etc so im not sure what is occuring, feel a little bad now - sorry about it all x

I've just put Igor, but it's not very clear - the text readsWe have three sets of Igor and Open Season 2 to give away - just like that with the 'and' not in bold

    ................................... MSE MARTIN LEWIS ... :A ... THANK YOU.......................
  • nothing was said about the first 10 entries, prima dont normally do that, so very weird:confused: i would have written it down if it had said, but will double check the mag, just to be sure, maybe i missed it

edit: just checked and no mention of first 10 entries, just says ends 31 march 09

Sometimes companies do end competitions early. I won a major competition in a paper once and they phoned me a couple days before the end date. I later dropped into the conversation that I believed the end date to be a couple of days after they phoned me and they just said they realised but wanted to draw it when they did as they had made arrangements with all the sponsorers and the prizes would be ready for me very shortly. Although I realise this is wrong, a closing date should be kept to, some people who run these things are so casual about it. I'm glad I queried them about it though. Other times with prizes you don't hear anything for 3 months and they tell u that u have won.
    Whether we win or lose,
that we played at all was a winning decision. :D
    2011 wins £12,292
    2012 wins ...
Thank you to all who post on here!!!! :A

I suspect it has only gone up today as it wasn't there yesterday when I went in so it may be worth a visit asap.

graceandowen - dont feel bad about it, just so i can remove the post if it has finished early, although if that is the case then it was only open for a couple of days at the most, so why did they say ends 31 march:confused:

    congrats on your win though:T
