Also a crossword for blu-ray player etc, but I like to try and do it without imdb & I'm a bit stuck at the mo - anyone know which Rodgers & Hammerstein musical was shot in Todd-AO?? :o

I think it was Oklahoma! but I'm not positive.

This says that "Todd-AO was formed in 1953 as a venture between Michael Todd and the American Optical Company for the purpose of developing and distributing a large film format presentation system incorporating wide curved screen with multi-channel sound.

the first film to be produced in the Todd-AO format was the musical Oklahoma. this premiered on Broadway in 1955 and went on to win the Oscar for Best Sound in 1955."

    Total to date - £309.15

Was it Oklahoma?....did a quick search & it was going on about Oklahoma in Todd-AO...if someone else can verify!
Must be - I've got L for the third letter - will have another go now!

(Btw it's only cheating if you use imdb - this is just asking friends for help which is allowed in the cheeky rulebook! ;))

    Thanks wingobins & d130 :D

I noticed that someone has won this comp. I'm slightly confused as it isn't supposed to end til the 31/03 but if you look at the letter (on i won board) then you can see that it says something about being the first 10 entries recieved. Does prima run their comps like this? I checked to see if there was any of the same comps that prima ran but it's just coming up with the one that apparantly hasn't ended. I could be missing something here and it wouldn't surprise me as pregnancy seem to dumb me down a bit. Lol!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

edit: just checked and no mention of first 10 entries, just says ends 31 march 09

Hi just sent email off to the mag, so will let you know what they say regarding this comp, if that is the case then they should have stated that fact, seems quite unfair:confused:
